McLaren Institute of Transportation Technologies
3 hours of flight, 3 hours of ground
The high-performance & complex aircraft endorsement is available for pilots with private, commercial, and ATP certificates. The lack of this endorsement will limit any pilot. For aspiring career pilots, this endorsement is a must! This is an endorsement that will carry over to any certificate.
Minimum requirements: 3 hours of ground, 3 hours of flight
Our training program averages 3 hours of ground instruction and 3 hours of flight instruction. The amount of time spent depends on the pilot and their ability to comprehend the knowledge on the ground and in the air. Most pilots will finish the course with an endorsement, but it d, dependsepends on you! Should you need additional training we can accommodate at an additional cost.
Transitioning to an aircraft that requires this endorsement will add an extra step to each flight! A high-performance aircraft is "an aircraft with an engine capable of developing more than 200 horsepower" (FAR 61.31). This adds more power and requires more decisive decision-making. The complex endorsement will allow pilots to fly aircraft with retractable landing gear, controllable pitch/ constant speed propeller, and flaps! If this is your next step in your flight training journey, then MITT is the right place for you!
We provided a tailored curriculum to each student that is flexible with almost any busy schedule. Our team of expert instructors has the experience helping students prepare for standardized tests. They will provide individualized support and feedback to help each student maximize their potential.
