Multi-Engine Training

McLaren Institute Course Outline

Multi Engine Pilot Training

Course Fee $5500

7 hours of flight, 7 hours of ground

**High-Performance Complex Prerequisite REQUIRED**

The multi-engine aircraft rating is available for pilots who hold private, commercial, and ATP certificates. Pilots who do not possess this rating are limited to flying single-engine aircraft only, which significantly lowers the chances of employment, as most aviation corporations fly multi-engine aircraft. This rating will be added to your existing FAA fixed-wing certificate.

In addition, twin-engine aircraft give you more safety and recovery possibilities in case of engine failures. All such aircraft are designed so that it’s possible to continue normal flight and reach the closest airport in case one engine fails. This requires an attentive and skilled pilot with a multi-engine rating. MITT can get you there!

Comprehensive Curriculum

Our Multi-Engine aircraft training program averages 7 hours of ground instruction and 7 hours of flight instruction. We do require our students to have  high-performance & complex endorsements before enrolling in the course. If a student is not yet endorsed we offer a course linked below! The amount of time spent depends on the ability to comprehend the knowledge on the ground and in the aircraft.  Most students accomplish their multi-engine check ride within the course, but it depends on the specific student. For students who need more time, we offer extra hours on top of the course. Each extra hour  is $450.
